Android Restricted Settings: Allow Olga

If a message related to Restricted Settings appears when activating certain phone features, it may be necessary to allow Olga in the Android settings.

This message may say, for example, “Restricted settings” or “For your security, this setting is currently unavailable...” during Olga configuration or in the phone settings.

How to allow restricted settings for Olga

The procedure may vary slightly depending on the phone model and Android version, but you can generally proceed as follows:

1. From Olga, open Menu > Settings > Other to access the device settings.
2. Go to Apps or Applications.
3. Search for and open the Olga application.
4. Tap the three grey dots in the top-right corner of the screen, if this menu is available.
5. Select Allow restricted settings.
6. Confirm if the phone asks you to do so.

You can then return to the relevant settings and continue activating the requested Olga feature.

If the option does not appear

On some devices, the option may not appear immediately. It may be necessary to first try to activate the relevant feature, then return to the Olga application page to make the Allow restricted settings option appear.
