Modify Sound & Volume

The Sound settings in Olga are available in Menu (long press on the 3 blue dots) > Settings > Sound

1) Modify the volume

By default, the volume is set to the maximum, and the volume buttons are locked. We have locked the volume buttons because many of our customers accidentally press the buttons and can accidentally mute the sound.

To lower the volume, a caregiver must first unlock the volume buttons, to do this:

Menu (long press on the 3 blue dots) > Settings > Sound > Uncheck "Lock volume buttons"

2) Disable voice synthesis amplification

Menu (long press on the 3 blue dots) > Settings > Other > Accessibility > Speech Synthesis Output > Press the gear icon to the right of Preferred Engine > Disable Volume Amplification

3) Modify the ringtone for incoming calls

It is possible to change the ringtones for incoming calls in Menu (long press on the 3 blue dots) > Settings > Sounds > Ringtone

The ringtones for incoming calls on Olga are specific because they support the announcement of the caller's name (if the caller is a known contact).
